Magellan TRX7, TR7, and TR5 Off-Road Navigator owners
Register your device by setting up an account profile on the device.
- Turn on your TRX or TR and connect to the internet through a Wi-Fi connection
- Tap the blue Magellan button to open the TRX Dashboard
- Tap Settings > Account Profile > Register New Account
- Enter your account details. If you already have an account on www.magellangps.com, please use the same email address and password.
Refer to the user manual for more details. Remember to create a TRX Trailhead User Account in order to enjoy the full functionality of your TRX/TR device. There is no additional cost or obligation.
RoadMate 7771, 7732, 7722, 6722, 6630, 6620, and 6615 owners
Your Magellan RoadMate will register itself when you connect it to the internet and create an account. First perform initial setup on your RoadMate GPS unit:
- Connect to Wi-Fi.
- Log in or create a new account. If you already have an account on www.magellangps.com. Please use the same email address and password. Your device will register itself and initial setup is complete.
For all other RoadMate devices, go to www.SmartGPSEco.com
SmartGPS Eco is a website that makes it quick and easy to register your RoadMate and keep it up-to-date with the latest maps and software.
- Go to www.SmartGPSEco.com.
- Create a new account or Login. If you already created an account on www.magellangps.com, login with that same email address and password.
- Plug your RoadMate device into your computer’s USB connector with the supplied cable.
- In www.SmartGPSEco.com, click on the Update tab then select your device.
- www.SmartGPSEco.com will prompt you to download a map if a map is available that is a newer version than the map that is already on your device.
