WasteDirect allows you to use either a point-to-point or segment based routing method to ensure routes are executed according to operation’s strategy with type-specific routing algorithms. Magellan’s routing technology is designed to increase safety while reducing operational costs and improving service.
But effective execution is beyond just costs savings, it’s also about the safety of your operators and the general public. With WasteDirect, new, temporary, and seasoned drivers remain focused on the road, instead of following paper maps or trying to figure out how to route around an obstacle. Verifying services completed gives managers a repository of historic data that can be used to verify account histories, foster employee development, streamline reviews, and manage risk by protecting fleets against false claims with documented proof.
Magellan’s RouteComplete give managers the ability to verify their services have been rendered, report rejected and obstructed bins, and aggregate this information in an intuitive dashboard. These tools give management the ability to quantify the success of their operations and work towards reducing costs.
Verify Services. Operators can validate their services rendered by accepting or rejecting bins when servicing each location.
Report Rejected and Obstructed Bins. When a bin is rejected or blocked, the operator can choose from a list of reject reasons, verify using the hardware’s camera, and add additional notes before progressing to their next stop. Upcoming integrations will allow rejected and obstructed bin information to be communicated over-the-air to the back end for immediate issue resolution.
Overview Service via Dashboard. The service dashboard will allow managers and admins to monitor bin collection status in real time. Time spent en-route, bin collection information, and more will be integrated into this platform, giving managers the information necessary to make future improvements in operations, employee development, and more.
