Answer:
The Magellan RoadMate 6000T's battery can be charged in your vehicle using the 12v cigarette lighter adapter packaged with the Magellan RoadMate 6000T. Depending on the type of cigarette lighter adapter port in your vehicle, the ignition may have to be on to charge the Magellan RoadMate 6000T battery. The Magellan RoadMate 6000T's battery will take approximately three hours to fully charge. An AC wall adapter can also be purchased to charge the Magellan RoadMate 6000T battery in your home.
