Firmware Version Check
To make sure that you access the appropriate upgrade, please follow the instructions below. You will be guided to the most current firmware version for your unit.
if you are re-directed to update a lower firmware version, you will need to download and install the lower version first then return to complete this firmware update.
Instructions for Vehicle Navigation GPS Units
1. Locate your GPS unit.
2. On your device: press the Menu Key, select System Status, select Product Information; confirm firmware version number.

2. On your device: press the Menu Key, select About..., your firmware version number is listed near the top after "Rev.".
1. Power up the Magellan Maestro.
2. Go to the main menu on your Maestro.
3. Press the next arrow on the bottom right corner of the screen.
4. Select User Options.
5. Select System Settings.
6. Select Next.
7. Tap on Product Information.
8. Your Firmware version number is on the 4th line from the top. This line will show "Firmware Version."
Enter your version number in the box below and click the "submit" button. You will be directed to the correct firmware upgrade process. This number should look something like this: 1.15
