Magellan Friends and Family:

Join Magellan & Sport Chalet for an official Cache In Trash Out Event! We'll meet at Griffith Park in Los Angeles to search for caches, win prizes & help keep our park clean. Don't have a GPS but want to learn about Geocaching? Magellan will have demonstrations of the eXplorist GC , our newest GPS device 1OO% dedicated to Geocaching! We will even let you borrow one to try. Prizes include Magellan eXplorist GCs, trackable geocoins & more!

Why should I RSVP?

We may need to send specific location updates, park guidelines and, most importantly, Magellan will provide lunch to those who RSVP !

Schedule:

 
9:00 a.m.
Event registration
Safety talk
Pick up supplies and water

9:30 a.m.
Proceed to collect trash throughout the park

12:00 p.m.
Return to the sign-in area

Most trash collected Prize
eXplorist® GC demo and drawings

Geocoin and other prize drawings
Enjoy a box lunch on Magellan

Rain Gear (hopefully will not be needed!)

Attire:

Wear old clothes
Layered clothes, long pants and long sleeved shirts
Study closed toed boots or shoes with good tread
