Downloading a new map for your Magellan outdoor GPS receiver is a quick and convenient way to enhance the functionality of your device. Before downloading the map to your GPS receiver, Magellan will need to know the serial number of the device to ensure compatibility as well as contact information for delivery and product support.

Register your product. You will need to provide the serial number of your GPS receiver. |

If you have more than one GPS receiver registered with Magellan, you will need to select the device to which you will load the new map. Each map download is only compatible with a single GPS receiver.

Map Downloads: After you complete the purchase process, you will receive an email with a link to download your map. Click on the link to begin the file download and follow the on screen instructions. Please note: For map downloads it may take up to 30 minutes to receive the email. Make sure you know the email address that you have registered in your Magellan user account and always check your spam or trash folders in case the MagellanGPS.com domain is not recognized by your email client. Your map can be downloaded again at a later time by going to your Magellan user account and clicking on "My Maps." Map Subscriptions: After you complete the purchase process, you will need to login to your account through VantagePoint. (Download VantagePoint) Enter your Magellan account user name and password and click 'Login'. Select the registered device with the map subscription to activate the 'Capture' tool in VantagePoint. The map will be visible in VantagePoint when it is checked in the Maps tab of the application. |
