It's the perfect companion for your safety series or RoadMate® Pro 9165T Magellan GPS navigator. While your navigator guides you when driving, the back-up camera provides a measure of safety as you begin and end your trip.

When you put your car in reverse, your Magellan navigator will switch from navigation mode to rear view mode, allowing you to see what is behind your car – including children, pets and toys.

When you arrive at your destination, the Magellan Wireless Back-up Camera will help you reverse and parallel park, giving you a much better sense of how close you are to objects behind your car – your best defense against damage to your vehicle.

Before using your Wireless Back-up Camera, be sure to update your Magellan RoadMate Safety Series GPS navigator software to version 4.82 (or later). By doing so you can take advantage of these great features:

Easily update your Magellan navigator software through Content Manager – you no longer have to search for and select updates to download. Content Manager will automatically do it for you.
