Unlock Codes

Welcome to the Unlock page for Magellan^® GPS products. The products listed below either require a software unlock code or an authorization code in order to upload map data to them.

To start the unlock process, please choose one of the applications below:

NOTE TO CONSUMER: We have determined that not all Compact Flash cards are formatted internally to be able to authorize for use with the Magellan RoadMate units. Some brands do not use the appropriate formatting of the internal serial numbers to allow security of the cards therefore these cannot be authorized. We have verified that currently Magellan, San Disk, Toshiba, are brands that we are able to authorize an unlock code for. We also know at this time that we are UNABLE to authorize the following brands - Lexar, Kingston and Viking.

Brands not listed above have not been tested, so we cannot verify authorization, these may or may not be able to authorize an unlock code.
