Ecommerce Trouble-shooting Guide You must have cookies and java enabled on your browser in order to access the store. Ecommerce Help Placing an order with Magellan's Online Store is easy. There's no need to create an account first. First you will need to browse the Online Store for the items you would like to order. You will find the Software and Accessories broken down into convenient categories to make finding the right item easier. When you find an item that interests you, click the title or name of the item to see its product information page. Here you will find more information about the item, the item price and availability. Buy Now If you want to order an item from the Store, click the "By Now" button on the item's product information page. Once you've added an item to your shopping cart, use the "Continue shopping" button to keep browsing until your cart contains all of the items you want to order. You can access the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by clicking the Shopping Cart icon in the left navigation bar of every page of our online store. ![]() Shopping Cart Take a moment to review all of the items you've placed in your Shopping Cart. If you decide that you don't want to purchase a particular item right away, change the quantity to zero and click Update, or to cancel the entire order click the "Cancel Order" button. The item will be removed from your Shopping Cart. When you're ready to place an order for everything in the "Shopping Cart Items--To Buy Now" section of your cart, click the "Checkout" button. You will be taken to the "Login/Registration" page. Please note: Online orders from the Magellan store are currently only available in the United States. Orders can only be shipped to US addresses and must be paid for in US dollars. Orders may be cancelled at any time, provided the order has not yet entered the shipping process. Please select "My Orders" to view order details and to cancel orders. ![]() Checkout/Login If you've already created a personal profile on http://www.magellangps.com, you will need to enter your email address and password. Push the "Login" button and you will then be taken to the "Billing Address" page. If you have not yet created a personal profile, please select the "Create your profile" link. You will be asked to take a few minutes to create a profile to complete your order. The information will be used during the order process. ![]() New Account Enter your first name, last name, street address, city, county and e-mail address. (Keep in mind that the e-mail address you provide here will be the only e-mail address to which we can send information about subsequent orders.) You can use the address provided here for the billing and/or shipping address for this order as well as future orders. Associate a password with your account so that when you come back to the Magellan Store in the future. Make sure you write your password down somewhere so that you remember it the next time you place an order. Finally, please indicate that you are over 13, agree with the terms and conditions and how you have heard of Magellan, and hit "Submit." You will then taken to the "Billing Address" page. ![]() Billing Summary Tell us the billing address of the credit card you will be using to process this order. Please note that we cannot ship to PO Boxes and thus, if your billing address has a PO Box, you will need to supply a different address on the shipping page. ![]() Shipping Summary Tell us where you would like to ship your order. Please note that we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Please pay special attention to the shipping timelines at the top of the page. Shipping Method Consider how quickly you would like to receive your order, and choose a shipping method. All items ordered before 12:00 pm PST Monday - Friday (except holidays) for shipment by one or two day service will be shipped the same day. All items ordered for shipment by ground or three day service, after 12:00 pm PST Monday - Friday, or on Saturday, Sunday or holidays will be shipped out on the next business day. ![]() Order Summary Check the accuracy of all the information you provided and make any necessary adjustments. When you are ready, click the "Checkout" button to submit your order. Once you place your order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail message. We will send you another e-mail message at the time of shipment. You may track your order from the "My Orders" page. ![]() Credit Card Information Next, let us know how you would like to pay for your order. We accept Visa, American Express, Discover and MasterCard; please enter the number without spaces or dashes. All orders must be paid for in US dollars. ![]() Order Confirmation This page is your receipt and summarizes your order. ![]() My Orders If you would like to review or change something about the order you placed before it enters the shipping process, click the "My Orders" link in the left-hand navigation in the Magellan Store. Here you will be able to change your mind about the particulars of your order without having to contact us.
